 The dotSMS application was created as a messenger service using SMS as the delivery medium. It allowed for the linking and import of contacts including the creation of groups for bulk notifications. The application was designed to be quick and simple to run for the novice user.
 The dotSMS system was also replicated to PalmOS as part of a larger company initiative to driver their SMS and wireless gateway products. The Neo1 was a clip-on module for the Palm series allowing wireless internet access supporting web browsing and email. The prime feature of the device was the "push" capabilities of the email client allowing the device to be woken up and alert the user when new mail arrived.
We were employed to create the Windows and Palm dotSMS application, the SMS gateway software and protocol specification. The product captured a sustainable niche in the market and was a cornerstone in the business.
